Hello everyone! The Project Éclat is back with our second article of the month, this time with exciting news: The Project Éclat pledges!

About the Pledge

Besides raising funds for the new Rainbow Centre campus, we also aim to spread awareness and help construct a more inclusive society for all. By pledging to this cause, you can play your part in helping to improve the lives of those that are intellectually disabled and act as an enabler in sharing this meaningful message with society. These pledges are made to showcase one’s commitment and dedication to helping those who are intellectually disabled while also serving as a platform for one to take decisive action and help this group of people! (It doesn’t have to be big, or life-changing, even simple changes will be a huge help!)

Sample pledges

• “Respect the intellectually disabled and educate my friends and family about their struggles and any misconceptions they may have”

• “Play my part in creating an inclusive society for the intellectually disabled :)” 

• “Be empathetic and understanding of the experiences and feelings of every individual, regardless of their disabilities, and hope to gain deeper insight into their lives and I will try to help those around me be more empathetic to the diversity of experiences and worldviews people bring with them based on their life experiences”
